This is like the majority of "short man hate" content online. Them getting played by someone they liked and maybe them thinking they "settled" and are tight that it didn't work out.

I used to hear this silly nonsense when I was younger, women, sometimes a full five-six inches shorter than me telling me that "we're practically the same height". Sometimes, it would be from women I was actually dating. Weird, delusional stuff.
