Will short men be wiped out of the genome in the future?

Designer babies are going to be the norm one day or at least in the hands of the elite classes. Even without artificially manipulating DNA in the lab, women are choosing men who are 6'+ and have degrees, and mostly white. They also go to college more than men and make sufficient income. They can go on Tinder and OKCupid and select guys with the traits that they want.

Where does this leave short guys like us?

Not too worried. By the time they figure that out, I'll be old or probably dead. Even if every woman on planet earth was artificially inseminated with sperm from men 6 feet or taller, there is still no guarantee that their kids will be tall.

Women who bare multiple children can bet that their kids will be of different heights. Even if the bar is raised and most males end up above 6', then 5'10 would just be the new short.
