my taller little sister

Im a guy and at 14 i was 4'10 and stoped growing since (i am now 21). My little sister is 3 years younger and was 4'8 and 11 years old, pretty short. One day, when i was 15 and she was 12, she wanted to compare our heights since she had grown and turned out to be slightly taller than me. i was jealous, but thought that she was just having an early puberty and that i would eventually catch up to her. Although things began to get worse. after a couple of months, she was noticeably taller than me being 5'5 tall. And thats when her growth spurt really began. after an year, she had grown 5 inches, standing at 5'10, she was now a whole foot taller. But it didnt end there, she would grow for the next two years and become 6'7 at the age of 15, and at 16, became 6'10 barefoot! I was so jealous and knew that i had no hopes of catching up to her. She likes to rub this into my face. She likes comparing shoe sizes and whenever i tried her shoes they were WAY TO BIG on me. She would also wear really tall heel (like 7 inches) making her 7'5 and my head only reach her waist. She could carry me with no effort . So i am now 4'10 and 21 with a 18 year old sister 2 feet taller than me and i learned to adapt with it. She still likes to compare heights in front of the mirror with her tallest heels on.

What is the thing you find hardest to buy?

I just have trouble shopping in general. LOL I hate it and I never know what looks best on me so I try to avoid it. I will shop online most of the time though which makes it easier to find my sizes.

Tall men who don't try

I want to make it clear I don't mind loosing to men who have worked for their achievements. If a guy who has put more work in, is more qualified, funnier, takes more risks gets the girl/job/promotion/more respect than me; fair enough. I am not going to be pretend to be a saint and say I don't envy such men but when a man earns something on merit, it is just. To beat them or match them I just have to work harder, take more risks myself.

However they is a category of man who winds me up no-end, I will illustrate with an example. Guy at work who has a rich parents who sent him to an expensive school, he didn't work, so failed his exams. He ended up a a second rate uni and failed there as will. This guy has had every advantage in life and has done nothing with it. He does make up for that with charm, any talents outside work, he is a complete mediocrity. Yet he has a knockout stunning girlfriend. This doesn't make sense till you discover he is 6'2" and that is all that seems to matter.

Another guy ended up with equally stunning women and once again he has done nothing to deserve it. He has a low status job, with no prospects. He is not exceptionally smart or funny, he doesn't even workout. The guy is 30 years old and looks middle aged. It doesn't matter, he is 6' 4" and thanks to that, he can cruise though life on the easy setting.

I find these men so frustrating because I know I am better than them. In every field of life I beat them. I have a better job than them, I went to a better uni, am more qualified and have more talent than they do. I am also in far better shape but none of that matters because they are above the magic 6' mark they beat me without even having to do a thing.

Has a woman flatly rejected you for height? Let's hear your story.

Has this happened to you? Often? Were you ever humiliated over it? Tell us what happened and how it went down.

Ever meet a tall guy who was cocky just because of his height?

I always hear people going on and on about this "napoleon complex" thing, but in my own personal life, it's almost always been the opposite.

Whenever I am the shortest in the room in a social or professional setting, there is always one taller guy who "peacocks" and acts like they're tough stuff. Many times it's them showing off in front of a woman and others its with snarky comments, but the showing off and comments are usually comparative. The showing off could be passing something over my head, placing something in a really high place, or just flat-out disrespect, but to make themselves look good.

No one ever calls them out on it and I'm convinced it is height related.

Joe Rogan's height attacked by anonymous Sky-writing message in LA

Spending a couple grand to insult short guys. I bet the guy who asked for that is tall.

What's the point of our lives as short men?

Honestly, most of us are single, childless and depressed.  What's the point of our lives, is it to suffer until we die?  That's a very bad life.  Why not end it sooner and end the suffering and misery?

"Only short guys with bad attitudes get made fun of"

This makes it seem like being short is inherently flawed, so that if a man who happens to be short is on his "best behavior", then he deserves to be called out for his lack of height. Make this make sense. I've never seen a tall man with an attitude get called out for his excess height.

pretty privilege for women = tall privilege for men

you are delusional if you think there is anything good about being short. being short is the equivalent of being a fat ugly woman.

What The Fresh And Fit Scandal Can Teach Short Men

I liked Myron's ability to get the women on his show understand how a man thinks, but as the show went on and on, his emotional tirades showed that he was far less "alpha" than he portrays himself to be.
