The women on the panel conclude that it is okay to make fun of short men because they don't complain about it and they can "take things" and that men are expected are "masculine".

I enjoy that they can't wrap their heads around the fact that there are real social penalties for poking fun of women or making statements that enforce gender norms. Many celebrities have been blacklisted for this. Sometimes it doesn't even have to be a celebrity. Look at that man who recently made that speech at a graduation about how his wife is a homemaker. There was so much angry commentary in legacy and new media.

these women are virtual signalling-if you want to know what they really think, look at the men they have dated in the past.  the true disconnect is that while it is socially acceptable to mock short men who have no control over their height, it is strictly taboo to even comment about an overweight women's physique. KR also acknowledges that 97% or women greatly prefer taller men which many people on this board are in denial of.

This 100%, or who they're dating now. How old they are matters very much in this aspect also.
