I only quite because I wanted to focus on my studies in senior year. " Green Bay — Year by year and player by player, the Green Bay Packers have relaxed their organizational insistence upon the 6-foot cornerback. When Terrell Buckley (5-9, 175) failed as the team's fifth overall pick in the 1992 draft, GM Ron Wolf instituted a "never again" ban on short cornerbacks that was broken in the last generation only by Mike Sherman with Ahmad Carroll (5-9½, 190) in 2004. Arguably the Packers' six best cornerbacks since the edict went into effect were Doug Evans (6-0½, 190), Craig Newsome (5-11½, 190), Mike McKenzie (6-0, 194), Al Harris (6-1, 190), Charles Woodson (6-1, 202) and Tramon Williams (5-11, 191)."
