Will I grow? 17M

Hi. I am about to start my Senior year in High School and have not grown since I was 14. My parents are 5'5 (dad) and 5'2 (mom). I know they are short but I have so many friends who are taller than both of their short parents. Do I have any hope? I really do not want to be short as an adult.

Do you get to date a lot of hot women? 8/10+?

Since a lot of women find short guys unattractive, the perception is that we have to lower our standards to attract more women. Any of you frequently date attractive women 8/10+ or only date women that would be considered "out of your league"?

How to make tall girls feel at ease?

Most of the time it is taller women feeling social anxiety when it comes to dating short guys like us. How do you go about helping them ease that feeling of constantly thinking about what others think of them?

want to become a high school teacher

i am in my fourth year of college in virginia and want to become a school teacher, preferably high school and then maybe move into administration. in my high school, we had a few short teachers and most of them weren't respected except for one of them. the man was in his mid fourties and 5'5 give or take  but his presence was huge. does anyone in education have any advice? what should i look for and how should i approach students. i start my externship in september and don't want to ask this kind of question because I don't want to come off as insecure and unready.

Tricks used to make actors taller?

I would like to know how they make actors look taller in the movies. In Collateral with Tom Cruise, him and Jamie Foxx look about the same height. There is no way they shot ever scene with lifts or with low camera angles since Foxx has 5 inches on Cruise. So how do they make this work?

I knowthey use

∙ Lifts

∙ Low camera angles

∙ Digging ditches

What are some of the other tricks they use?

How do you deal with guys hitting on your taller dates?

Last weekend I went to a nightclub with this girl I am seeing. She is 5'8 and had on heels. We entered the club together and men all over the club would flirt with her openly with me in sight? How do you handle this sort of thing and have you ever experienced it?

Okay i want to say something

i found this site through reddit and it seems like there is a bunch of men on here who think their height is holding them back. i usually date tall men but i have a guy that i work with who is around 5'3 and he gets a lot of dates and people respect him at work. you want to know why? its because he has a lot of confidence. women and people all over love confidence. instead of complaining about how short you are you should dig deep within and work on things you can change. confidence is everything.

Robert Reich is 4'10

From Wikipedia:

Robert Bernard Reich (/ˈraɪʃ/;[1] born June 24, 1946) is an American political economist, professor, author, and political commentator. He served in the administrations of Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter and was Secretary of Labor under President Bill Clinton from 1993 to 1997.

Reich is currently Chancellor's Professor of Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. He was formerly a professor at Harvard University's John F. He has also been a contributing editor of The New Republic, The American Prospect (also chairman and founding editor), Harvard Business Review, The Atlantic, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.

Reich is a political commentator on programs including Hardball with Chris Matthews, This Week with George Stephanopoulos, CNBC's Kudlow & Company, and APM's Marketplace. In 2008, Time magazine named him one of the Ten Best Cabinet Members of the century,[3] and The Wall Street Journal in 2008 placed him sixth on its list of the "Most Influential Business Thinkers".[4] He was appointed a member of President-elect Barack Obama's economic transition advisory board.[5]

He has published 14 books, including the best-sellers The Work of Nations, Reason, Supercapitalism, Aftershock: The Next Economy and America's Future, and a best-selling e-book, Beyond Outrage. He is also chairman of Common Cause and writes his own blog about the political economy at Robertreich.org.[6] The Robert Reich – Jacob Kornbluth film Inequality for All won a U.S. Documentary Special Jury Award for Achievement in Filmmaking at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in Utah.[7][8]

Best shoes that add an inch or two but look normal?

Hey guys. I'm looking for dressy or casual shoes that add an inch or two but not height increasing shoes. They all look weird, fake and cheap. What shoes do you wear when you go out?

How do you build confidence?

I came across this site while on Twitter. There are a ton of PUA and dating forums, but I came here because its for short guys like myself. First thanks for having a site like this!

Whenever I go to clubs or lounges I freak out and stammer when talking to women. Sometimes I may score a phone number but my friends say I don't have confidence. How do I start conversations with women and be smooth at the same time?  I love being short honestly so I have no problem with that but know that it could be a double whammy that I try to talk to a woman stammer and be short.

Do you have any tips that could help me out?

Naturalheightgrowth is a scam

People have been following that blog for years, buying some of his products, reading their long drawn out essays on height research topics, clicking on his affilate links and BAM, his site disappears without a trace. Wake up people!

any of you have success with online dating?

I'm pretty short and did the old bump up your height trick and sure enough received more responses. If I put my actual height I get nothing. I have heard of short guys who had luck with OLD and since I don't know any personally I figured I'd ask you what you did to score dates.

Mayweather gets owned by Maria Sharipova

Anyone see this GIF? Every year they do some insidious height joke that everyone gets a laugh out of and it usually demans short guys in the process. Mayweather is one of the highest paid athletes in the world and still can't catch a break.

What would say is short average and tall?

I know I am short but I was on break today for lunch and this woman called my best friend short and he is about 5'10 which I think is above average. The girl a friend of ours is 5'3ish give or take a few cm and insisted that anything under 6'1 is short! Clearly she's not playing with a full deck but it got my friend and I to thinking what constitutes as tall, average or short. We came up with this chart and based it on how people treated friends of ours and how girls respond to them. Tell me what you think

5'-5'2: extremely short. women will not go near you unless they are morbidly obese and unattractive

5'3-5'4: very short - unless you have a lot of money most women wouldn't touch you and if they do they wouldn't admit it

5'5-5'6: where you start being tormented for your height. women will only date you if you are supererior in every other to anyone taller or have a special skill

5'7'-5'8: women will tolerate you but you will not get any points for height. you need to be a fighter or have a chiseled physique to get respect from other men

5'9-5'11 - you are average and on a level playing field

6'-6'2: ideal. women want you, go after you and you get points for being tall. you are societies embodiment of masculinity

6'3-6'4: better than ideal. women who are taller than 5'7 will fight over you

6'5+: extremely tall. this is where your height can start working against you

Why is there no body acceptance movement for men?

When I check my instagram, there is always some pic of overweight women with slogans such as, "If a man complains you are too big, then remind him he doesn't have the right equipment for the job". If you don't go along with it, then you're a 'hater'. Why is there no similar movement for short guys?
