I remember this story. What made me laugh about this is that wealthy men typically have a "list" of things they're looking for in a partner that they disclose when working with a matchmaker. I work with guys like this in corporate.

What I think made the media railroad him is not so much that he had his "insane" list as Jezebel put it, but that he's 5'4 and had that list. How dare he? "Short men aren't allowed to do that".

If he were the typical TDH media heartthrob type, this wouldn't have been a story, and if it was, they would have been not only celebrating his list, but actively promoting it and following up as well.

I don't know. Tom Brady and Dr. Dre are both over 6 feet and got taken to the cleaners. You have models like Tyrese Gibson crying on the internet that their baby mamas are controlling every aspect of their lives and making them broke. Plenty of regular 5'10+ guys I know are broke and barely getting by.

I'm not arguing that being taller wouldn't make things a bit easier, but most of the shorter guys I know are successful, some married, some habitually single. Their dating lives aren't as smooth as a "good looking" or "average" taller guy, but they do get action. Many are entrepreneurs or leaders in their fields.

I think this quote reflects things that we can control and can aim for. No one is stopping a shorter person from completing their degree or opening their own business. Jeff Bezos of Amazon, the founder of Google and Mark Zuckerberg are at most 5'6, 5'7.
