A good friend of mine did it to himself by taking on this woman who had two kids. Her ex was abusive and of course tall. He ended up having a child with her and is now on the hook for taking on three kids (he adopted the first two. She of course left him for a taller dude which is why this piece stands out. This happens more often than people think.
