When it was time to buy my first leather jacket, a guy at work pointed me to “Schott” —and for good reason. Co-founder Irving Schott is credited with creating one of the first modern zippered leather motorcycle jackets in 1928. The brand still carries his name today. Fellow short brothers. Where do you buy your suits?
Nice to see this site up and running again. My favorite suit places are as follows:
Indochino is my favorite because of price, quality and the friendliness of the staff. I live in NYC, so heading to their showroom is easy as pie. The prices of the places I mentioned runs the gamut though with Astor begin pretty pricey. You get what you pay for though! Express has mass manufactured clothing, but I love thier styles and can get jackets and pants tailored if need be. I'm just curious to know where you all purchase your suits and why you prefer those places. |

Custom Suits?
I've literally bought suit jackets and full suits from every major retailer you can think with the most recent being Uniqlo because they generally have smaller sizes. I can't seem to get the right fit though. Jackets are either too roomy underneath the arms, the bottom of the jacket is too long, or the sleeves are too long which is a problem because once the buttons come off the jacket is never the same. Pants are a bit easier. Can anyone recommend a great store (irl or online) that makes great fitting suits? |
