After striking out for a long time with women online and in real life, I finally met a woman who liked me for me. We would hang out, go out on dates at night and every other week, she would come over and we would sleep together. 

 

We met at a book club that I go to here in Philly . She was in a group of women and I was asked about a book I read. As I answered, she became interested in the conversation. We had a bit to drink that night and she came back to my place because she wanted to see some of the other books in my collection. 

 

We slept together that night. We were both drunk, her more than me. After texting back and forth for a week, we met again and slept together again. She always seemed busy and I noticed that we always got together on Sundays. Once I got a text from her telling me to meet her at a Starbucks and when I replied she said that she sent the text by mistake and that it was meant for me the week before she just never pressed send.

 

My job is by a movie theater and one night when I was coming home from work late, I bumped into her. I saw her in the movie theater (the facade has glass panels) by herself. I went in and she told me she was waiting until 9 to see a movie by herself. She told me she would call me on Sunday. When I call her during the week, she doesn't pick up now. She only wants to see me on Sundays.

 

She tells me she loves me, but when I ask her to be official, she tells me she just isn't ready.

 

I don't know if I should stick around and continue to pursue this, or if I should go back to being alone.

Hey, it's me Captain Obvious. It's obvious she's using you bro. Either keep her around to enjoy the sex or just move on. She isn't going to be your girlfriend any time soon.

The fact that she's sleeping with you and is only linking up with you ONE DAY OUT OF THE WEEK is enough to tell you that she is seeing other guys and and has no interest in becoming a couple or showing you off. You are her "in case of emergency break glass" guy. She hooks up with you when no one else is available. Don't think it is anything more than that. Sucks but don't let sleeping with her cloud your head.
