Question
Short guys who get told they're handsome, is dating any better?

What are your biggest challenges and biggest wins?

Is your experience dating different from shorter men who seem to have more negative interactions with women? In other words, does your facial attractiveness and or physique mitigate height bias?

On the other end, are any of you withdrawn from the dating market and tired of it due to negative experiences?

Finally, when you other guys see you winning, do they get jealous and try to drag you down?

Yes, without a doubt, no question.

I've been told many, many times, some variation of, "you're short, but you're so handsome" by women who were interested in me and women that I dated.

I've also been grilled by the friends of women that I've dated, and they've said explicitly, "[insert micro-aggression comment here], but you're handsome". Essentially, backhanded compliments have been a part of my dating experience. People react differently to this. Some get angry, some accept it as par for the course. I'm in the latter category. Why? Because I've had what many would consider to be an extraordinary dating life.

Before I started losing my hair, both I and the women I interacted with considered me to be top-tier handsome.

How did I know this? Because women would stop and tell me this all of the time. Occasionally, they would follow it up with, "Too bad you're too short for me". But then, even that would be followed with an "ugh". It's like some women were wrestling with what they found attractive and what society was telling them they should or shouldn't do.

I was always into fitness and played both soccer and baseball, so had a physique to match. When I would go to the beach and take off my shirt, I would get compliments.

I'm not saying all of this to brag. I knew that being shorter than average absolutely made me take some massive hits, but those were mitigated with the wins. I also realized that my experience was not like that of many other guys my height, especially in high school.

I think being viewed as a "handsome" short person has worked in my favor but, most of my dating experience was before the explosion of internet dating, so I also believe that alot has changed. The competition is alot harder for everyone, regardless of height or handsome facial features

That one part where she said she was just there to practice lol.

So even after women decided to leave, the women left STILL wanted to engage in humiliating men.

No wonder most dudes pass on these things.
