Why are heels needed in the workplace?

When it comes to women in the workplace, some places require women to wear them. Why? I mean if men like shorter women, then why do they think heels are so sexy? I am just randomly thinking here.

That don't make sense now that I think about it. I swear women wear heels for other women, not men. I love the sound and all but most of them look strange on women. A small 2 inch heel is fine, anything past that is too much.

Certain jobs require them but I think this is because they are considered classy. Like in office jobs and things. I had a female doctor when I was younger and she always wore heels. I remember asking her why and she said so she can reach things easier lol

Heels are so stupid to me. I mean women complain about having to wear them to be taller for their boyfriend... DATE SHORTER MEN! lol
