I used to find a lot of this growing up. My mother happens to be taller than me. Growing up, if something broke around the house or she needed the answer to something, she would trust my friends more than trusting me to be knowledgeable. It used to frustrate me. Even in the present day with me grown up, I notice that she is more trusting to the assumed knowledge of a taller person than one shorter. Forbes estimated his fortune to be $65.3bn (£49.5bn). Amazon's revenue beat analysts' expectations, climbing 31% from last year to $30.4bn in the second quarter. Profit for the e-commerce giant was $857m, compared with $92m in 2015. According to Forbes estimates, Mr Bezos's fortune is only surpassed by Microsoft founder Bill Gates, worth $78bn (£59bn), and the $73.1bn (£55bn) fortune of Zara founder Amancio Ortega. Amazon had developed a reputation for announcing little or no profit each quarter, but appeared to hit a turning point last year and has seen improving earnings since. Accessories Furniture? Started by FefePapa Furniture? Do you guys look for specific furniture to buy to accommodate your height? I am not that short but for example prefer coffee tables a bit higher than normal and bureaus that are not so high so I can reach the top shelf. I get a decent amount of matches on Tinder but many times the conversation goes south once height comes up. Last week this really attractive woman sent me a super like and we started talking. We shared a lot of the same interests, football, video games, conspiracy theories, sci fi, wresting and swimming. When she asked me about my height, I cringed but she said cool and left it at that. We went to the pool in our area for our first date of all places, had fun and then went to a nearby bar after drying up. We stayed there for four hours talking. She said she couldn't wait to see me again. We made out a few times that night and I'm excited. She's taller than me too. I'd say about 5'6 or so. Height Growth Limb Lengthening Surgery Started by bbtopp [ 1 2 ] Limb Lengthening Surgery Has anyone ever gotten limb lengthening surgery to grow taller or thought about doing it? If so, how did you get this done/afford the surgery, or do you know of any support group that may be able to help finance this? Also, does anyone have any ideas on how to explain getting this surgery done to those close to you who have known you for years (friends, family, peers), so that they do not judge you negatively because of getting limb lengthening surgery?
