When I was much younger, I went to this networking event. There, they had this Asian guy, he couldn't have been more than 5'2 give a presentation about his brokerage. His wife was super small, petite, cute and the guy seemed to have it all together.
To say being short is tough isn't a stretch, but as the guy in this video stated, it definitely isn't the end.
Well done video and a very balanced take.
Yes, Invictas get a bad wrap because they are not considered quality for the long term. Also, watch snobs sneer at watches that "look nice" and are affordable. It's kind of like a professional photographer mocking a consumer or prosumer model camera.
Personally, I like Invicta watches. I have a few, but I don't swear by them. My most expensive piece is a Concord Mariner X Gent in black and chrome, but you're targeting less than $250, so Seiko, Casio, Fossil and Invicta brands are going to be right up your alley. I have dozens of Fossils and this one here (chronograph with brown leather) will be my next purchase.
To quote Jaspreet Singh, ABB - "Always be buying".
This is the biggest crash since 2020, and like 2020, you should be doing your research and where applicable, look for deals.
I am not your financial advisor, nor should you take anyone's advice here verbatim, but that is certainly what I'm doing right now.
As far as tips, what's worked for me was always putting aside some funds every month precisely for this reason.
When a situation like this occurs, it ends up being an opportunity for you.
No, I don't work for Jaspreet, but his channel is one of my favorite YouTube channels and I highly recommend it if you are interested in learning more about investing.
I will definitely be checking and participating in this thread. Thank you.
Nothing dresses up jeans more than a crisp one-color button up shirt.
For footwear, Diesels or Blazers if you're considering sneakers. Cap-Toe or Oxford sneaker/shoes if you want to dance on the edge of formal.
Add a narrow tie to round it out. Blazer isn't necessary, but a nice touch.
