I never heard of this effecting growth in height. I guess it can but I wouldn't say it would make a difference bigger than an inch.

I recently packed on 7 pounds which sounds like nothing but I swear none of my jeans fit good anymore. It is pissing me off. I mean if this is what a lot of women go through with jeans, I can understand why yoga pants are so popular now. I might get some! Screw this!

I never gave it much thought. I mean I can be selfish and say 5'4 but I know most women are averaging this height. So yeah, I would agree that the 5'7/5'8 mark SHOULD be ideal.
