The mistake is believing that someone's standards are indicative of their outer packaging. What makes people think the princess (which represents the average everyday person) has "the most to offer"?

They actually said that 5'8-5'10 is on the shorter side for a man.
Holy cripes! Do men under 5'8 fall into the sub-human category? Jeez!
We're viewed as faceless NPCs. Just pay attention to how some women interact with you at work. The ones who are indifferent and cold to you, but not taller guys are exactly these posters.
Nice article. I really have no problem with bigger women who prefer tall and fit guys. What I don't like is when said bigger women have negative things to say about the men they don't find attractive, or shame men who aren't into their body types.
I never say mean things to women who struggle with their weight. I wish people had the same tact toward shorter men. Not so much recently, but when I first started out in the workplace, the people who would give me the most flack for being short were bigger women and very short women.
The author of an article in Slate Magazine was threatened with litigation over a write-up of encounter with this doctor. The article published was entitled, "My Encounter With the Creepy Craigslist Doctor" where she tried to tarnish his reputation with an insinuation.
Though, the article pre-dated the dating fiasco referenced on this thread by a few years, the write-up dragged him similarly, though with less reach than the networks.
