As well as I've always done when it came to the ladies, even "I" can't act like this isn't a thing.

I too know someone this happened to. Her son is about fifteen or so and she used to talk nasty about shorter guys when she was younger. No doubt about it.

The reality check is important, but it'd be more helpful to give the man actionable solution depending on what he'd want his outcome to be.

We all know that 4'11 on a man is rough. While I'm not psychologist, we know how the male mind works when we toil at something without having a solution.
