I need to get a dress shirt for next week. I have a few but they don't look to great on me. What kind of dress shirt should I go for? I am at a loss here haha

I'm not a fan of Peter Manning though I do like that they exist and support them. I prefer mass brands like Express and H&M. I can easily get shirts from there tailored if need be. I've seen Jaden Lam stuff and like them also.

H&M for the win! That's all I wear for the most part.

I am trying my best to avoid having to tailor shirts. It is such a pain to have to do it. I know if I am only getting a few shirts, what is the big deal... But it is still a pain to buy a $40 shirt and have to pay another $20+ to get it adjusted.

I agree with the H&M. I am slightly shorter and never have an issue with the fit.

Best Friends For Life

This work explores the phenomenon in which some men undermine or ridicule their shorter male friends in the presence of an attractive woman, sacrificing mutual respect in an attempt to gain social approval, romantic interest, or status through the reinforcement of height-based stereotypes.

Using jeans I already have to make dressy outfits

I own tons of jeans and wear jeans all of the time. They're just what makes me comfortable. While I do own a few suits and ties, it's just not what I enjoy wearing. Most of my jeans come from the big box stores like Express and American Eagle. Most of them are in the faded blue category. Some have rips. I know there are jeans that are "higher quality", but that's not what I'm going for here.

I own a couple of Wingtips, Oxfords and Cap-toe shoes. Most of them are in decent condition where some polish will make them look good.

What advice would have to use what I already have with some tops (this is what I'm really getting at) to look more dressed up? What do you suggest? Which type of belts? Which kind of tops? Sports coats? Turtlenecks?

I'm 28, in decent shape, but putting more effort into the gym and am moving toward getting haircuts more frequently (I used to get them once a month or once every two months). What tips or advice do you have?

If a short woman rejects you, don't worry. Just wish the best for her.

Just keep on looking until you find your match. Hopefully things will turn out well for her.

Stay focused, disciplined and work on yourself men.
