I personally like the "TheLowerView" brand, but the term has become quite controversial.

Yes, I think the people up in arms about this over-exaggerated controversiality are beyond weak and cry babies, but "The Lower View" does have a nice professional ring to it.

"The Lower View" or "Lower View" sounds like an online magazine. "The Atlantic" comes to mind.

It sounds more authoritative. That would be a good look. though I do like the "TheLowerView" concept.

I've been on this site through several name changes.

While the "TheLowerView" name is very marketable, "The Lower View"sounds as if could bring you broader reach, more credibility and most importantly, it is far more palatable. 

"The Lower View" might just be your ticket.

I'd drop the "The" and just go with "Lower View" if you could.

I like the idea of "TheLowerView", but I think this site would be way more successful with a name like "The Lower View".

It has a nice ring to it, and has a much lower chance of eliciting ridicule if someone sees the site open on someone's laptop. 

This path would be a smart choice.
