There are so many types of plastic surgery that people get daily and from my observation, none of it gets as much push back as Leg Lengthening surgery. I know dozens of women who have undergone breast augmentation, rib removal, rhinoplasties, scar reduction, tummy tucks, butt lifts, botox, you name it. There are men who have scalp micropigmentation, hair replacement and take roids. Socially, none of this is met with the amount of hatred and opposition as leg lengthening in comparison. Braces, which are commonplace can dramatically change the look of someone's face and appearance. And aren't crooked teeth genetic?

Have you seen the comments under leg lengthening videos on YouTube? Every comment is about the guy's "insecurity", having a "horrible personality", how he's "cheating", being a "narcissist" and stuff of the like. Then you'll also find comments attacking the man's height.

I have no interest in leg lengthening honestly, but I don't see the big deal if a man chooses that path. All of these other cosmetic operations are done for the same exact reasons from the recipient's point of view and for the greater social benefit from having fewer imperfections.

i also have zero interest in this as my health & fitness are the only things i have going for me.  

as to why it upsets people, i would say that most of the people upset by it are women.  the reason why is the same reason why they ridicule men who wear hair pieces or shoe lifts even though they wear wigs & high heels-it because these women consider artificial enhancements by men as disguising & misrepresenting our genetic quality so what is acceptable or  even expected for women  is considered as creepy, desperate & pathetic when a man does anything similar.

I think it's because men are "supposed to" represent themselves in their natural form on some biological level so they can be selected for their genes. Women are allowed to misrepresent themselves so they can position themselves to select the best genes. If men misrepresent themselves then women feel "cheated" since they are the ones carrying the baby.

I'm not saying it's right or that what I'm saying is from scientific study, but I think that's what drives society to mock men who "enhance" themselves.

Because "short men have to know their place". Height is at the top of many women's lists, so to deceive them would be from their point of view, on the level of a cardinal sin.

Horrible that shortness is being touted as a disability, but the representative makes a good point about people (really women) doing this naturally anyway. It only becomes a problem though when men are the ones choosing the traits they want their offspring to inherit.

I made a post on reddit, in some big sub. I tried to make an honest appeal to the normies there. I talked about the struggles short men face, and I didn't even bring up dating. I linked several statistics and talked about difficulties at the work place, bullying, depression and suicide rates, etc

The post got downvoted and nobody addressed any of the arguments. Some guy in the comments said I wrote it with chat GPT, which is hilarious considering it was very obviously not AI, and half the top posts there are AI. I got one gaslighting comment talking about how short guys live longer or something

Reddit is generally left wing. Aren't they supposed to care about oppression?

At least the right is honest.
