Why do people refuse to accept the struggles of short men?

I made a post on reddit, in some big sub. I tried to make an honest appeal to the normies there. I talked about the struggles short men face, and I didn't even bring up dating. I linked several statistics and talked about difficulties at the work place, bullying, depression and suicide rates, etc

The post got downvoted and nobody addressed any of the arguments. Some guy in the comments said I wrote it with chat GPT, which is hilarious considering it was very obviously not AI, and half the top posts there are AI. I got one gaslighting comment talking about how short guys live longer or something

Reddit is generally left wing. Aren't they supposed to care about oppression?

At least the right is honest.

Precisely why forums like the one you're on exist. Reddit is a huge company with its own objectives and shareholders to answer to. Not saying "anything goes" here, but it least it's a forum run by shorter men, for allowing shorter men to discuss what normally gets shunned because of social conformity elsewhere.

Welcome to the forum.

And this is exactly it. Everyone else's issues are "because of something external". When it comes to us, it's "our own fault". Always.

Short people thrown into a conversation about eugenics on national news

Horrible that shortness is being touted as a disability, but the representative makes a good point about people (really women) doing this naturally anyway. It only becomes a problem though when men are the ones choosing the traits they want their offspring to inherit.

"Don't make height your entire personality"... Meanwhile: Tall people

An entire convention. And of course, short women are there.

You know if we had a meetup, there would be no admiration. Just jokes.

Study claims people will forget you are short if you walk tough.

Study from Northumbria University claims to have found a solution to what they percive to be an "insecurity".

You can find the VICE article which mentions said study here
