Older short guys (30 and up), has dating gotten easier?

Not trolling with this question either. Assuming everyone here is 5'8 and under and 30 and up. If you were unsuccessful dating in your younger years (20s), is it true what they say about dating getting a bit easier? If it did for you, what did change? Was it dieting and lifting, new environment, career and financial success?

It would be great if you could be as blunt and direct as you can about whether your life has gotten better or worse, especially with regards to dating as you've aged.

Sorry-- no answers for you.  I married very happily in my 20s, 32+ years ago.  The only advice I would give you is to look for a woman who loves you for who you are and either prefers a shorter husband, or doesn't care.  They are rare, but they do exist.  When you're dating, show her your good qualities, and keep away from the height issue.

as I have said, it is HARDER the older you are, at least older than your 20's, after a girl is in her early twenties she is than thinking about her future and the "possibilty" she is going to have a kid and a short guy is the last thing she is interested in, the ages 20-40 are the worst for a short guy, after 40 it is easier as a woman is losing her looks and maybe she is able to get a short guy to help raise her kid after her taller husband has left her, but the ages 20-40 unless you are very rich or are willing to get with an overweight female who is also desperate for a guy are the worst for a short guy.

Easier? Depends on what you mean. The fact that fatter girls and single mothers are tired of getting poked and left and then mutter the whole "I'm looking for something meaningful". Just means they're ready to settle for second and third fiddle.... and they'll resent you being their choice in time.
