This is really how many think. I've seen some tell guys they were "taller than them" even though they were clearly several inches shorter with heels on.

I used to hear this silly nonsense when I was younger, women, sometimes a full five-six inches shorter than me telling me that "we're practically the same height". Sometimes, it would be from women I was actually dating. Weird, delusional stuff.
