That tucked in shirt looks horrible! I have always been taught to wear dark bottoms and lighter tops just because it looks cleaner. When you wear light with light, it makes you look out of shape.

This is mainly commonsense styling. I mean you want to keep your body as close to an intervened triangle as possible. With us woman, it is the opposite or an hourglass shape.

You would be suprised by the number of men out there that don't know these things. Heck, I have a female friend who is 29 and doesn't know how to dress her body or shop for the right clothes for her.

Using jeans I already have to make dressy outfits

I own tons of jeans and wear jeans all of the time. They're just what makes me comfortable. While I do own a few suits and ties, it's just not what I enjoy wearing. Most of my jeans come from the big box stores like Express and American Eagle. Most of them are in the faded blue category. Some have rips. I know there are jeans that are "higher quality", but that's not what I'm going for here.

I own a couple of Wingtips, Oxfords and Cap-toe shoes. Most of them are in decent condition where some polish will make them look good.

What advice would have to use what I already have with some tops (this is what I'm really getting at) to look more dressed up? What do you suggest? Which type of belts? Which kind of tops? Sports coats? Turtlenecks?

I'm 28, in decent shape, but putting more effort into the gym and am moving toward getting haircuts more frequently (I used to get them once a month or once every two months). What tips or advice do you have?

Dressing extra fresh is the best thing a short man can do

The amount of female interest I get when I am in my most proper form, impeccably groomed and dripping with style and in top shape is where and when I do best.

The truth is that most women will gravitate towards taller men as a matter of fact.

As shorter guys, I learned early that "there has to be something about us" to pique interest.

Some will shy away from this, but those who tackle this head on will prosper.

Find an amazing barber. Sift through style until you find the hairstyle that works best for your head.

Make sure your clothes fit well. Extra loose fitting clothes accents your lack of height and makes you look clueless.

A fit body will pop in the summer. In a sea of people who don't take your health seriously, you'll stand out, even at a shorter height.

I had a woman in a class I took a few years ago who used to make disparaging comments about shorter guys and one day on a hot day, I hd a polo shirt on that exposed my muscles (not wearing the shirt to purposely do that). She complemented me and gave me a look of "hmmm".

Shoes. It's all in the shoe game. You don't have to spend a ton, just find shoes or sneakers that make a statement and that you know fashion.

Hygiene. Smelling good, having extra fresh breath, etc.

These things have been said here over and over agin, but it's worth repeating.

Ladies who are anti-short men will remain anti-short men. They are not your audience.

However, the ones who are open, on the fence or genuinely interested can be swayed by your charm.

Have good intentions.

My 5'4 buddy got married two years ago and has two kids now. She isn't a barbie doll, but she is a good fit for him and she adores him.

Life is more difficult as a short dude, I should know, I am one.

That's is all.

Think he's a fan of "big" and "strong" men? A compilation of his height obsession.

Comfortable elevator dress shoes recommendations? Less than 3 inches

I've had two pairs of elevator sneakers from tallmenshoes.com.  They boost me up 2 inches. Very satisfied with them. Very good quality.

Unfortunately my feet get tired from my heels elevated when I walk a lot. It sounds like I'm not the only one.

I only wear my elevators occasionly but I do enjoy being a bit taller!
