Length Of Clothing

I don't know if anybody else has noticed, but hoodies and jumper length has seemed to have gotten longer in the last couple of years, some hoodies and jumpers I have bought seen to be the length or close to the length of when longline hoodies/jumpers used to be even though they are described as basic fit, has anybody else notice hoodies/jumpers length has gotten longer!

I'm 5'7, does any body else noticed this?

How many of you stand up to height shaming?

I'm not talking about your typical short jokes, but rather the blatant disrespect mean-spritied "jokes" or off-the-cuff comments directed at you to belittle you or convey inferiority relative to everyone else. These are the type of comments that someone would make and then play it off as "a joke". I've read on other forums (reddit for one) where they advise you to "embrace" the humor and "accept that you are short". I think this is misinformed.

By self deprecating you invite more ridicule. I usually will tell someone straight up that I don't find jokes like that humorous, it's like bullying or body shaming which aren't welcome in professional settings. I will give them a serious look too. Especially in the work place, once you give off the idea that this type of behavior is acceptable, it will happen again and again and again.

So you're MGTOW? Is that really by choice?

So you're a Man going his own way?  Are you sure about that?  Are you really going your own way by your own choice?  It's pretty easy to go Mgtow as a short guy.  Women aren't exactly lining up at the door to date a short-stature man.  So I'm curious.  If you've adopted the Mgtow philosophy, and have gone your own way, was it by your own choosing?  Or was it essentially imposed upon you?  I'm no Incel by any means, but I am a guy who knows enough about reality.  I don't bother with Tinder or dating sites because I already know the harsh reality that awaits and there's not much of a point attempting it.  I have heard it before numerous times...where a girl friend will try and introduce her single women friends to "so and so" and he does "such and such" for a living, etc.  But you can't help wonder why you never quite made the cut for that introduction.  She knows many eligible guys to introduce to all her single friends, but you never came to mind...and as a shorter guy, you know exactly why that was the case but never can never quite call anyone out on it. Another example is I had an older woman who had 2 grown kids take an interest in me.  After she already had been married twice, and had children.  I never quite gave her a green light.  She eventually asked if she were younger, would I have been interested.  I said, yes...probably so.  I asked her how tall her ex-husbands were.  She said 6'3" and 5'11".  I just find it quite amazing that after the youth and beauty are all gone and she secured the "tall" genes for her kids...she's now open to the concept of dating a 5'5" guy. No thank you.  If I wasn't good enough to be first choice then, I'm not really interested now.  I will, however, say that in not marrying, having no kids, and having a semi-decent job, I have been able to accrue a good bit of wealth and real estate that otherwise would've been difficult.  So is Mgtow good?  Maybe.  Share your thoughts.

Wemen actually turning away on street

Hey guys,

i am pretty short (5,4) and indian, and not actually that bad looking in my opinion and happy with myself but the world sees this differently. Well, thats ok, i dont give a shit about most people :) But what really bothers me, on the open street, when i go for a walk for example, wemen who walk in my direction actually fucing change street sides or make an effort to not come into 3m of my personal space. Just today a young woman was jogging in the opposite direction than me in the park, she saw me, she actually fucing stopped jogging, turned around, walked a bit so i could just see her back and then started jogging again away from me. And really, i am like what the actual fuc. It's not that i would even care about those wemen. Like honestly. What the fuc is this? It is really annoying and actually bothering me a lot, even if it shouldn't...does anyone have similar experiences, or is it really just because of me.

Another notice: Usually this only happens with wemen i would consider average or good looking. The ones who look REALLY good usually have to work for their looks (with sports) and got their shit sorted out and are mostly down to earth people. Those who do not look that good know good enough to not judge other people based on their looks. But this middle to good looking part of wemen i find really incredibly annoying. I could just walk around and slap each single one them in their face, like with all of my strength.

Well, what are your thought on this guys?

So you finally have women all over you and you're 30+

I want to leave some of these links to remind all of you. You better do a thorough background check on her about the type of men she used to date, what she has done professionally up this point and what her life goals are. What better place to get a real word view of women's intentions than by reading posts on a site that is allows for no outside interference:

Site: Lipstick Alley | Post: Anyone successfully secure the bag? | Link: Here

I married late - my HS boyfriend. He's white and has a very good career. I live in a big, beautiful house on acreage. I got hurt last year and had to stop working. I'm fine now, but he hasn't mentioned me going back to work, so I spend my days doing whatever I want. It's actually very nice.

Specific advice for you: don't mention the sex career. Tell them you used to have an interior design business or something (a lot of the wives of my husband's business associates claim that). In fact, I'd actually get a few fake business cards made up and leave them laying around.

It's your book. You write it.

I dated a short dude once as an adult and never again. But if I HAD to... his lil ass better worship the ground I walk on, offer me the world on a string, be packing a magic stick, and be ready to run me a good portion of his check

Good thread comparing heightism to colorism

This was from a post on Lipstick Alley, a site for black women. A lot of the darker skinned women complain about "colorism" and how unfair it is, but are quick to denigrate a man because of his height which of course is just as uncontrollable as someone's complexion. This is the first post. I will leave a link to the thread underneath

Is it really comparable though? I don't think so..

I hear men say "women always curve short dudes but they get mad if we prefer light skin women." And "if we were talking about dark skin women about the way y'all talk about short men, you would be mad".

Then my sister was talking about the other day how "all men love tall women because we are goddesses and we hold weight better (she's dark skin btw and she was saying it in a joking way) and one of our cousins is a shorter light skin girl and she said "but y'all hate when men say they prefer light skin women but it's okay for you to talk sh*t about short women". She also then said that "most men would prefer a short light skin girl over a tall dark skin girl anyway, us lightskins always winnin" (Wow right?)

Like why does everything about height have to revert back to colorism. People always want to bring colorism up when we are talking about a whole different topic. You can't compare oppression and slavery to height!

Rant over

Bagel guy interviewed on the Jim and Sam Show (great stuff)

This video really brings a lot of light to the way short guys are treated. Sure he's under the height of what many men who consider themselves short to be, but it is so great that Chris and this phenomenon is getting so much publicity.

The most right swiped heights on dating profiles for men

This very interesting articles uncovers some truths many would never have assumed existed. Apparently 5ft6 is one of the most right swiped heights on Tinder. Take a look at this chart from this SUN article:

TALL TALE

Dating app reveals most right-swiped heights for men and women – and it’s good news for short people

The most-wanted height for men was actually below the nation's average

LISTING your height on your Tinder bio is deemed a necessity by many users, but according to a new study the demand for measurements may actually be good news for short people.

Despite widely-held beliefs, size doesn't matter to serial swipers both male and female, according to fresh data from leading dating app Badooo.
