I'm not so sure I understand the slant of this article. It talks about her being bullied and that being her motivation to get leg lengthening, but then tries to pin the disaster on her husband saying that "she did it for him". What?

A friend of mine I knew since childhood is getting back with her abusive boyfriend yet again.

They break up repeatedly. The man I know is verbally abusive, and I suspect physically abusive also. She ws convinced that she couldn't live without him and is forever depressed.

I am weary about allowing people vent to me in real life, but I've known her forever.

She finally broke up with him a few months ago and dated other guys. Guess what? She's back with him again.

I asked her one day why she deal with him. Her response, "He makes me feel protected and the sex is toxic".

The guy just happens to be about 6'3. Go figure.

You can't make stuff like this up.
