Andrew Lawrence, Jet Li, Scott Caan, Elijah Wood, Jonah Hill. There are a bunch of them.

Well looks at a lot of the latest films. There are tons of short men who take the lead like Jason Statham. He is billed 5'10 but people all over said he is not over 5'9 and I believe him to be about 5'8 myself.
