This doesn't surprise me. Height has been mainstream since the 1920's when the boom of Hollywood began.

I think height was a big deal even before than. Think of all the people in history and how tall men were viewed as stronger, smarter, alpha males.

Shouldn't this be in the heightism category? How is this entertainment?

People Magazine is part of entertainment. I am guessing that is why it is here.

You can't make stuff like this up.

Imagine writing a guide for dealing with hefty women?

The story remains unchanged. Thought I'd share. Link to article here.

Medium Magazine article blames men for women rejecting short men

What else is new. From the article:

"Being tall is one of the standards of masculinity as defined by the patriarchy"

Also from the article:

"Men might be passed over because they’re 5’6”, while women are dismissed (and often cruelly so) if they weigh more than 120 pound. I'm not sure how women reject shorter men, but it can't be worse than being told you're a hideous fat pig that no one would ever want to sleep with".

What does that have to do with us?

Magazine credits Putin being responsible for the rise of short kings

https://theweek.com/news/world-news/russia/956195/vladimir-putins-height

... And unsurprisingly accuses him of having a "Napoleon Complex".

"Over the years Putin has sought to portray a tough-guy image in a series of infamous photoshoots, but "even the best publicity stunts cannot alter reality – or in this case, Putin's average height"."

What else is new....
