Anyone would rather choose Ebola/Smallpox than being short?
I am very ardent against being short and I discovered having Ebola or Smallpox is better than being short after all of my researches about short men's mental healths and my own feelings about it. If there were 2 options for me: 2.Being around 188cm-190cm with Ebola/Smallpox. I will never hesitate to choose the second one. |

was there any defining moment where you realized you are short?
for me it was this commercial, I remember I had the TV on but I wasn't watching it but I thought I heard the Bridesmaids mocking short guys, at the same time I could not imagine a major network would air a commercial like that, so I googled to try and find the commercial and I found it and sure enough my ears did not decieve me and a major corporation (Yoplait, General Mills) on a major network aired a commercial basically saying a short guy is not really a human, and it was acceptable for a female to mock him https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Emp_CtPy1Gw

"Short? You Just Might Live Longer"
"Get ready to finally embrace your short stature, Skee-Lo! We've long known that short people live longer than the taller among us. Past studies have examined the relationship between height and lifespan of populations around the world, suggesting that shorter people generally live longer lives, while taller people are more likely to have certain illnesses and develop various types of cancer. Now, thanks to new research published in the journal PLOS ONE, researchers have finally discovered the secret behind shorter people's longevity: It's in their genes."

Are Green Bay cornerbacks too short?
Okay so I am a Packers fan and saw this and thought I would share. Green Bay — Year by year and player by player, the Green Bay Packers have relaxed their organizational insistence upon the 6-foot cornerback. When Terrell Buckley (5-9, 175) failed as the team's fifth overall pick in the 1992 draft, GM Ron Wolf instituted a "never again" ban on short cornerbacks that was broken in the last generation only by Mike Sherman with Ahmad Carroll (5-9½, 190) in 2004. Arguably the Packers' six best cornerbacks since the edict went into effect were Doug Evans (6-0½, 190), Craig Newsome (5-11½, 190), Mike McKenzie (6-0, 194), Al Harris (6-1, 190), Charles Woodson (6-1, 202) and Tramon Williams (5-11, 191)." |
