Short Men and 'Social Justice'
Greetings everyone,
Because we are in a time with 'social justice', where people are very insecure with their 'social identities' and are trying to change the status quo as well as promoting liberal thought, the curious thoughts came to me: Is heightism going to be addressed now? and If so, would it lead to negative ramifications? Here are my thoughts on these: I remain indifferent yet thoughtful. Though it's nice that this would be addressed, I think it would be fair not to do anything about it. Why? Because bringing attention to this matter would proliferate the negativity towards the shorter man. We don't need more negativity towards us. Fortunately, from my experiences, I think that heightism towards us is quite rare in most public spheres. However, if the shorter man is in the dating sphere, then apparently, he will experience heightism. All I say is that 'ghosting' and leaving this issue in the dark remains stable in a neutral way, which may be positive.
Let me know what you think. |

Youtube Pranks are a good case study in seeing girls hate on short guy
alot of Youtube Pranks have guys hitting on random girls and going up to random girls, if a guy is on the short side, a girl is almost always going to be rejectful of him and if a guy is on the tall side, a girl is going to always be open to him, seeing this has really made me realize what I have been missing out on and it has made me bitter |

Why do men who are average/tall wish they were taller?
Something I've always noticed is that men who are like 5'9-5'10 and even 6' wish they were taller yet. Why do people deny heightism when people who are already average want to be taller to reap the social benefits that come along with it? |

Haters jab at Kevin Hart's success and new bride
I get it that Kevin Hart supposedly cheated on his first wife, but so what? So did Steve Harvey and a bunch of other Celebrities, but the first piece of shit thing that comes to all of the commentator's minds are "Hope she cheats on you with a basketball player", "She's only with you for your money, if you weren't famous you wouldn't have a chance". What the fuck? |

Short Man gets bullied by Judge Judy (who is short herself)
Can you imagine if she "see what happens when you're black?" It would be a fart show. Insulting someone for their genetic predisposition (race, height, hair color) is so wrong, I'm disappointed in her. |

The 'promise land' for the short man?
Hello everyone, I've been thinking; is there any place on the Earth that doesn't really scorn us? Any place that does not stigmatize the short man? With those asked, I have made a fair conclusion. There is such a place. You know where that is? I believe the promise land for us is Japan. Why you may ask? Well, look at their culture, it's mostly based on anything 'chibi' or 'cute' or 'nimble' or 'small', which they embrace! Look at their anime! Notice how the main character is usually a short male?! Notice the history of Japan? They developed a small nation into a relatively advanced superpower; the point I'm making from this, is the notion, "small packages come with big things", which intertwines with Japan's culture. They are a welcoming society to a certain extent, and I believe that we are more welcomed there. -unknown |

Does anyone know where the shorter man is welcomed?
After looking at heightism on Wikipedia, it is shown that there are some places that regulate height discrimination; however, are there any other places for which the shorter man can migrate to? Is there any place in the world where height is not looked at in terms of careers and women? I'm curious, what are your thoughts on some parts of Europe? or Japan? |

Short Men, Overweight Women Face Lower Pay
of course, as everyone knows, unlike height someone's weight is for the most part under one's control via diet and exercise. i find one of the comments to the article also very interesting: " Even though I am over 60 and therefore short of options, I will not date a man under 5'10". And this must be the reason. Taken as a group, I just don't gell with them. They sort of overcompensate in other not very nice ways. I couldn't put my finger on it -- but maybe now I get it. Also, other parts of them tend to be smaller. Sorry but true, and size does matter. Agreed genetics and racial characteristics (i.e. Hispanic, Asian, Caucasian) play a role, but I often wonder if the diet and nutrition of the parents plays a part. That would also affect intelligence and other attributes." http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2016/03/10/short-men-overweight-women-face-lower-pay/?_r=0 |
