86% of women claim to want complimentary partner. Data says otherwise.

According to a study printed by publication FiveThirtyEight, 86% of women claimed to want a partner who "compliments" them rather than "resembles" them. Data they pulled from over 1 million matches from the website eHarmony while examining 102 traits said otherwise.

Men were satisfied with an 80% similarity in looks, interests, education, creativity and income, however women were far more strict. The review of data was done in 2014.

The publication "FiveThirtyEight" is now property of the American Broadcasting Company.

Indians in the diaspora who are 5'6-5'8, do Indian women reject you?

The average height in India for males I read in a sub-reddit is 5'7. This means that 5'4 and below is most likely where height my be an issue. Over here in the states of course, it is not uncommon to see Indian men in the 6 foot range, especially in the cities.

There still are many Indians here who are in the 5'5-5'8 range.  Over in the UK, the recent Prime Minister himself was just 5'6.

My question is, do you find yourself being rejected by your own in the diaspora for being under 5'9? In this case, I'd say in the 5'6-5'8 range.

She says it's not fair that men don't prefer fat women.

She said, "what if she has a condition or a thyroid problem", and asked if being obese made her "un-wifeable". Then when asked if how she would feel if a man cheated on her with a fat woman, she had a major brain freeze.

The video is from the Whatever podcast.

5'6 calls in for dating advice. Don't be this guy.

Complete embarrassment. Height is the least of his problems.

The gym should obviously be one of many things on his list.

Don't be this guy.

She says tall incels are rare.

So, short men by default are violent and aggressive, while tall ones are "nicer"

I'm guessing no one introduced her to Wade Wilson.

She says it's okay to shame men for things they can't control.

She says it's "right" to shame based on people's preferences.

Height shaming isn't acknowledged by the greater society

The guy pictured here is Dynzell Sigers, a seemingly nice guy. Most of you know him by now.

What makes him stand out is how open he was about his successful leg lengthening procedure.

A former short king, he now stands at 6ft even. Quite striking when you consider his starting height was 5'5.

You'd have to ask, what would make a man go this far? I'm not here to talk bad about the man.

He says he was confident and comfortable with himself, but he knew what many of us know or take too long to figure out.

If you look at the comments under his video where he always commits to full transparency, you will see comments like, "He's insecure", "why wouldn't he accept himself" and "all of this for what?".

The people who say these things always forget to address, "where does that insecurity come from?". To be clear, Dynzell says he wasn't insecure and I believe him.

There are so many stigmas that people acknowledge today, Depression, body dysmorphia, gender identity, weight, but very few acknowledge heightism, even those who claim to be the most progressive. Shaming men isn't considered forbidden, but actually encouraged.

Kudos to Dynzell for concluding that he didn't want to fight this fight, he wanted to rid himself of the stigma once and for all and just live a normal life.

Now, I personally wouldn't do leg lengthening, but I get it. I get it.
