The daughter responded "taller than me, but not by that much" to which the father said "He better be haha. I hope so!". What a crappy moment. Why do questions like this even come up? Aging Just turned 40. This is it. Started by AnotherPhase [ 1 2 ] Just turned 40. This is it. One one hand it's a little depressing, but on the other hand relieving. I watch these gray hairs coming in and see all of the people I grew up with starting families, many of their kids pre-teens and some full grown. I am fortunate. I have been successful career wise, but do know that my height played a huge part in my struggles in dating and advancing in my field through my 20s and 30s. Humor Comebacks for height insults. Started by ThatFlyShortGuy [ 1 2 3 ] Comebacks for height insults. I don't get a lot of height jokes, but I have a colleague at work who is two inches shorter than me and not a day goes by where someone doesn't insult him for his height. Whenever they insult him he just stays quiet and laughs it off, but I can tell he is uncomfortable. Whenever someone sends a joke my way, I destroy them by sizing them up and picking out something they'd be insecure about. I'm not insecure for being short, but I bet the people who insult me when they do it assume so. So what comebacks do you have and use?
