Have you ever been the butt of some joke because of your height? Like saying "you should be ___ and he/she should be ___ for Halloween cause you are so short!". Someone told my friend, who is about 5'6, he should be mario and I should be luigi because of the height difference. It made him feel like *bleep*.

I used to hear this when I was younger and actually celebrated the holiday. I don't bother anymore now.

But these characters ARE short. Why would you get offended by that? That makes no sense!

But telling someone "Hey, you should be blank because you are short like him!" is still insulting. You don't hear people saying that for taller men.

Exactly! When you don't hear the opposite happening as much then the first thing is insulting. And most of the time it comes from a joking stand point.
