Thinking of dropping out
post #1

So, I've only gone to college for two semester, starting this fall, and I've figured I would be in major debt if I were to go the full four years. I stayed in the dorms this year, but I probably would have moved back home for the next year. For some reason, I just feel like it's too much work. I couldn't get into it like most people could. Plus I have some ideas on businesses to start soon, so I'm going to give that a shot very soon.

If you must drop out, might I suggest finding a backup of sorts? Do you happen to have a job lined up or some other plan? I understand it may be hard to get through college, but I think a college degree will help with finding proper jobs and so on. What where you planning on majoring in by the way?

Ever notice colleagues thinking taller guys are more knowledgable?

At work last week, we had this new system installed. I'm a major tech geek and everyone at work knows it. However, we had this new guy hired a few weeks ago. He is the tallest man in our division (about 6'3 or so). The rest of us men are below 6 feet. Every time women in our division or men from the outside come in with questions, it is automatically assumed that the new tall man is the knowledgable one, even though he visibly looks younger than us all.

Any of you experience anything similar?

What's up with women thinking taller height = better protection?

Ever see Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto or Manny Pacquiao? These guys are at the top of their game and win most fights. In fact, the current day boxers with the best records are all small. I get that taller people weigh more which can be a big advantage, but most people aren't skilled fighters. Taller does not equal better or more protection. I've seen an equal number of scary looking short guys and tall guys. In fact, this one 5'6 guy who is buffed works as a bouncer at a local club.

Who here is thinking of getting LL

I'm serious. I've been reading the MMT forums and all of these people have these elaborate schemes about how they plan on saving up for the surgery, about which doctors they are choosing and I never knew that the amount of people who want the surgery is so huge!

So

1. Where are you getting it?

2. When are you getting it?

3. How are you saving up for it?

4. Why do you want to be taller?
