Should I buy this longer or shorter?

I found a leather jacket I like on sale. It is normally $150 but it is going for $70. I want to get it for the fall but I am not sure if I should get me normal size or shorter. The medium would fit me shorter but the large is how I normally wear them. I never had a leather jacket though so I am not sure which would be better. I tried both on and can't decide. I have someone holdng them at the store for me.

From my expeirence, leather jackets and jean jackets are better shorter than longer. Look at the pic below. It should be slightly shorter than your shirt.

Depends. Do you wear thicker shirts or will you be? If you just wear thin t's and thin long sleeves go with the medium, if you plan on wearing heavier items like hoodies under, get a large. Trust me, I own 4 different leather jackets and they are already form fitting.

Is it black? Brown? For some reason, brown jackets I go longer then black. I don't know why but I feel like brown ones look better longer.

I guess it depends on your style. You tried them on, how do they fit? You want it to make you look lean, not bulky or fat.

I always buy leather jackets shorter myself but I am a woman. I would take the advice though as they are made to be that way.

I have owned several over the years. Shorter is better for thinner ones, you want to buy longer if they are thicker.
