Allow me to introduce myself

It is so wonderful that a place like this exists. I found this place by googling "Short Guys". I'm 5'4, 26 and am a Guidance Director for my district. When I was in my late teens, I was in denile about how "important" height was. When I got to college I complete understood what being short men to society. I am successful by anyone's imagination but deal with heightism from time to time.

Anyway, I look forward to chatting with all of you!

Why do short men get told to move to other countries?

I have been told this before, sadly. And it sucks. And it hurts. But you have to figure these are the women most men secretly wish went to another country lol

Eminem is only 5'8?

I just found this out and I am shocked. I thought he was close to 6'. His wife, Kim, is the same height, if not an inch taller. Nuts! I just thought I would share.

Should you lie about your height?

I read that men should lie about their height on dating sites to increase odds because 75% of women are 5'6 or shorter on these sites. They will likely cancel out a lot of possible meeting or matching because most dating sites do 2inches + taller men than the woman. I am not sure about this and I would like to know if anyone else heard this?

New Study Reveals Interesting Link Between Men's Height And Divorce

The link is money, time, and jobs. That is about it. Short men are more likely to have average jobs so they are home more and have more time to spend with their kids and wives.

It is even said that taller men make more and have higher salary jobs on average so this means less time at home.

How soon do you make your move?

In terms of "sleeping" with your date? I have been seeing a woman on and off, nothing serious but we haven't gone all the way yet and I am not sure if it is because of me, like she is expecting me to do something, or if she doesn't want to. It has been 2 months and we have hung out a few times and went on like 5 dates. 2 of them were double dates.

Height, dating and being comfortable with yourself.

I know how that goes bud your not alone here. We all have had days, weeks, years like that. One comment and it ruins everything. Hang in there. I find it does get easier with age.

You think height matters less with age?

I find the older I get, the less I care. I guess when you are say, under 40, it matters because you are dating, trying to settle down with someone, going in and out jobs... ect

What do you guys think?

Small wrist issue

I agree with apple. I recently got one on clearance online and when I ended up sending it back because I have small wrists and honestly it just looked stupid.

What is the best brand for shorter men?

Most brands now a days offer something called "slim fit" which is tighter and shorter. Like a slim fit large is in between a medium and a large.

"taller than him" Pinterest page

It is sad that it takes money to attracte women when you are short. I know this is not the case with all of them, but a lot of shorter famous men... they are a catch because of their income and that is about it.

Are Green Bay cornerbacks too short?

Okay so I am a Packers fan and saw this and thought I would share.

Green Bay — Year by year and player by player, the Green Bay Packers have relaxed their organizational insistence upon the 6-foot cornerback.

When Terrell Buckley (5-9, 175) failed as the team's fifth overall pick in the 1992 draft, GM Ron Wolf instituted a "never again" ban on short cornerbacks that was broken in the last generation only by Mike Sherman with Ahmad Carroll (5-9½, 190) in 2004.

Arguably the Packers' six best cornerbacks since the edict went into effect were Doug Evans (6-0½, 190), Craig Newsome (5-11½, 190), Mike McKenzie (6-0, 194), Al Harris (6-1, 190), Charles Woodson (6-1, 202) and Tramon Williams (5-11, 191)."

Stretchmarks?

My boyfriend is a bit, well, self conscious about his stretchmarks. He feels like because of his height, he shouldn't have as many as he does. I nver gave it much thought but do shorter guys have less because they don't grow as much? (I hope this category is right! lol)

WHY!?

I was shopping and ran into my ex girlfriend. I was happy to see her honestly. We were talking things over and she is doing good. Then out of no where, her "boyfriend" walks up and this dude is no joke, like 6'4! He made me feel like a kid! And then she introduced me as an "old friend" not even that she used to date me. WTH! Why would she do that? Was she embarassed?
